UAA Parking Services hosts 2011 Permit Image Photo Contest

Deadline: Thursday, March 17, 5 p.m. Parking Services Office

This contest is open to all UAA students, faculty and staff. Five winning photos will be featured on the 2011-2012 UAA Parking Permits. The "Grand Prize" winner will be awarded a 2011-2012 Annual Yellow Permit; four additional winners will receive a one-semester Yellow Permit.

Contest Rules:

• Subject of photo must be a UAA campus building, architectural feature or landscape with no recognizable people. Horizontal-orientation (landscape) images are preferred, as this will best match up with the photo-space available on a typical parking permit.
• Images must be in color and submitted in digital JPEG, GIF or other common format, no larger than 4"x5" (360x288 pixels) and 72 dpi resolution. If your photo is selected as the winner, a larger, higher-resolution image must be provided.
• Photos must be the original work of the photographer; maximum three entries per photographer accepted. Photographer must be a current UAA student, faculty or staff member.
• Winners will be asked to sign a release form allowing UAA Parking Services unrestricted/unlimited use of the photo.
• Submit your photo via e-mail to bizservices@uaa.alaska.edu or on a disc to the Parking Services office, lower-level of the Campus Bookstore. Please include your full name and contact phone number with your entry.
• Entry deadline is 5 p.m. on Thursday, March 17; winners will be announced by April 22.
