The Planetarium still has advance tickets available for DJ Moonbass' SonicVision show this Friday night at 8:30 p.m. He'll be mixing an Electronica soundtrack featuring Daft Punk, Kraftwerk, Micronauts, etc. And he's also adding some great new visuals to the mix, including cartoons and even some astronomy. Buy your tickets now at UAATix.com.

Feb. 26 Planetarium shows We've also got at least a dozen advance tickets available to all of our shows on Friday, Feb. 25: 7 p.m. Search for Life w/ Dr. Andy Puckett 8:30 p.m. Awesome Light w/ Dr. Andy Puckett 10 p.m. SonicVision featuring DJ Aqua Black (Lo-Fi/Alternative: Tame Impala, Avey Tare, Beach House, etc).

And look for our March-April schedule to be released in the next few days! We'll be continuing our Friday night schedule, except that we'll be skipping Spring Break week. You'll be able to find all of our show details at http://www.uaa.alaska.edu/planetarium/shows/.

How to fly 'standby' As usual, if you don't have advance tickets to one of our Friday night shows, but you'd still like to come check us out, you can "fly standby." We always have a handful of tickets to sell at the door, and then we start reselling any empty seats at 10 minutes until show time. We can't guarantee that everyone in the standby line will get to see the show, but we love to play to a full theater, so we appreciate everyone who comes out to take a chance. Doors open at 6:30 p.m. for the first show, and our volunteers typically start manning the door around 6:20 p.m.

Hope to see you at the planetarium!
