Friday, March 18, 9-10:30 a.m.
UAA/APU Consortium Library, Room 307

Academic research often entails sharing materials with colleagues or purchasing research materials from commercial providers for experimentation, testing or evaluation. Material Transfer Agreements are contracts that govern the sharing of these materials. MTAs from third parties can contain restrictive, far-reaching, inappropriate clauses that can affect the ownership and conduct of your research. This session will cover the importance of MTAs, how they are used and their benefit to your research.
