'Dr. Sharon Chamard gets her own 'day” for her community service work

The Anchorage Municipal Assembly has proclaimed March 10, 2011, "Dr. Sharon Chamard
Day," in recognition of her work with the Fairview Community Council and her outstanding
community service to a variety of projects and organizations in Anchorage.
Dr. Chamard, justice faculty member, is recognized in the municipal resolution for her leadership as president of the Fairview Community Council, her exceptional community volunteerism, and for her assistance in her professional capacity at the Justice Center to the Anchorage Police Department and the Community Action Policing (CAP) team.
