Nicolas D. Dighiera named new safety officer at UAA

The University of Alaska Anchorage Environmental Health and Safety/Risk Management
Services has announced the hiring of Nicolas D. Dighiera as a safety officer. Dighiera
graduated from Alaska Pacific University with a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration
and Management in December 2009. He previously worked for four years as the Health
and Safety Compliance Manager for Alaska Powder Company. Dighiera brings to UAA a
broad range of safety skills from his seven years of service in the U.S. Air Force
working as an Explosive Ordinance Craftsman.
