Public Health Series offers talk on 'Conservation Medicine' - March 24, 2011

The UAA Department of Health Sciences welcomes your attendance at the next Public Health Seminar Series presentation. Our guest speaker is conservation biologist/curator Dr. Jordan Schaul from Alaska Wildlife Conservation Center. His talk is titled, "Conservation Medicine: The One Health Philosophy at the Nexus of Veterinary, Medical and Ecosystem Health." The talk will explore facets of this multidisciplinary approach to public health issues and specifically address the impact of climate change as it is relevant to conservation medicine.
