UAA groups organize Anchorage Assembly candidate forum March 30, 2011

Show up and be heard at the Anchorage Assembly candidate forum. Meet the candidates running for the Anchorage Municipal Assembly and hear them answer questions from UAA students. Less than a week before the Municipal Elections, this is your chance to hold your candidates accountable for the issues you care about. Issues like public transportation, sales tax, property taxes, bike trails, road maintenance, snow shoveling, etc. Tell them the issues that are important to you.
Doors open at 7 p.m. and the forum begins at 7:30 p.m. An informal reception will follow so that you can meet the candidates. Light refreshments will be provided. This event is open to the general public.
