This year's topic, "Emerging Technologies: Making it Work." The 16th Annual TCC Worldwide Online Conference is a worldwide online conference designed for university and college practitioners including faculty, academic support staff, counselors, student services personnel, students and administrators.

Join our annual TCC Worldwide Online Conference to share your expertise, experiences and knowledge relevant to the use of information technology in learning, teaching and academic services. This event is very helpful for novices and will provide a foundation about what is currently happening in higher education.

To get started, please create a user account on the TCC Online Conference site. This site will be home to all online conference activities, including the live events, recordings, handouts, discussions and networking activities.

CDE in Fairbanks has purchased a site license for all of University of Alaska. Visit this link at http://distance.uaf.edu/go/tcc.

Complete the form, choosing a username and password. You will be prompted for an "INVITATION CODE." Your invitation code: cgrp222 This code is needed when you first create your account. Afterward, you will be using the username and password you selected to enter the TCC 2011 Conference activities. Set up your account, run the tech check and introduce yourself in the discussion area.

Venue:
This conference is held entirely online using a web browser for access to content and technology services. A computer system with headphones and microphone as well as broadband Internet access is highly recommended.

Theme:
TCC offers refereed papers and general presentations on emerging technologies and current practices, distance learning, online communities and collaboration, social networking and best choices of adapting instructional technology in teaching and learning.
