April 19, 2011: FASD Foundations (FASD101)

This four-hour introductory workshop includes the causes of FASDs (Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorders), prevention, diagnosis and assessment and intervention strategies. These workshops meet the requirements for the State of Alaska's Department of Health and Social Services' FASD101: Insights into Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorders training. Students in health or allied health care programs are encouraged to attend. All participants will receive a certificate upon completion of the workshop.
