TONIGHT: University Singers Concert April 25

Fine Arts Building, Recital Hall

The University Singers will present selections from Mendelssohn's Oratorio "Elijah." This oratorio was Mendelssohn's last composition and considered by many as his masterpiece, as great as Handel's "Messiah" and Haydn's "The Creation." The choir will sing some of the most stirring choruses from the oratorio, and voice majors will sing some of the most beloved solo arias, under the direction of Tai Wai Li as his final concert with the University Singers.

Tickets in advance are $10 general; $5 students, seniors and military; and $2 UAA students with current ID. Day-of-performance tickets are $15, $10, $7. Please contact the UAA Fine Arts Building Box Office at (907) 786-4849.
