Residence Life welcomes two new staffers

The Department of Residence Life is proud to announce that Michael Smith and Samantha Callister will be joining UAA as our West Hall and North Hall residence coordinators.

Michael comes to us from Valdosta State University in Georgia, where he advised a hall council, supervised resident assistants, co-taught a resident assistant class and participated in an on-call duty rotation, among many other things. Michael also served as UAA's Summer residence coordinator during the summer of 2010. Michael just completed his master's degree in higher education at Valdosta State University.

Samantha is coming back to Residence Life at UAA after receiving her Master of Science in College Student Personnel Services and Administration from the University of Central Arkansas. During her time at Central Arkansas, she completed internships in Judicial Affairs and Multicultural and International Student Services. Before going to the University of Central Arkansas, Sam worked for one year as UAA's First Year Experience residence coordinator.

Please join us in welcoming them to UAA. Mike and Sam will begin working on July 18.
