Sally has worked at UAA for 8 years, beginning with a project related to bioterrorism preparedness training for health care professionals. Her work has spanned a variety of technologically innovation projects, including the Health Distance Education Project which facilitated the transition of about half of the more than 90 University of Alaska health programs into e-learning formats, many interrelated efforts to greatly expand use of clinical simulation in nursing and other health programs, and response to the State's audit of university distance education.

Sally served as director of Allied Health Sciences for a time, and has worked on many collaborative efforts to create and expand health programs across the UA system. A public health professional, Sally has contributed significantly to the health of Alaskans throughout her career, including serving on the Alaska Mental Health Board Pre-trust. Her expertise, knowledge and guidance will be greatly missed.
