Aug. 2 web access workshop open for registration

UAA staff, faculty and students who are interested in learning more about web accessibility are invited to attend a one-day session on web accessibility on Aug. 2. This collaborative event, offered by UAA Disability Support Services and the State of Alaska ADA Coordinator as a preconference event to the 2011 Midnight Sun AT Conference, provides professionals with tools and techniques to make websites more usable for everyone, including people with disabilities. It focuses on understanding the end-user experience through hands-on use of technology, techniques to review individual websites for barriers and ways to apply tools and techniques that promote usability.
