Andreas Tziolas, an adjunct faculty member for UAA's Department of Physics and project leader of Icarus Insterstellar, was interviewed by The New York Times for an article about DARPA seed money and interstellar spacecraft design.

Tziolas, who works by day as the chief scientist for Alaska-based Variance Dynamical studying neuromimetic electronic prototyping, reports that Icarus Interstellar currently has a student training program in interstellar engineering. Interested UAA students may contact Tziolas at (907) 301-2160 or andreas_tziolas@icarusinterstellar.org .
