2011 Safety Awareness Month

The University of Alaska Anchorage will be hosting various programs and awareness campaigns throughout the month sponsored by Dean of Students Office, Student Life and Leadership, Student Union and Commuter Student Services, Residence Life, Student Health and Counseling Center, The Justice Center, University Police Department, Environmental Health and Safety / Risk Management.
Events will include a safety resource exhibit with pizza and campus safety department representatives, the annual Campus Night Safety Walk, child's rights activism presentations and several awareness booths throughout the month. Trainings including Rape Aggression Defense (RAD) courses and Disaster Response Training.
