2011 Constitution Week is Sept. 19-23; contest deadline to decorate your office is Sept. 19

In honor of Constitution Week (Sept. 19-23), UAA will be hosting an office decorating contest. Any UAA office/department can participate. The contest is to help promote Constitution Week and get students, staff and faculty excited about exploring and learning about the Constitution. See last year's entries for inspiration.

Rules

• Confirm participation by Friday, Sept. 16 (email Kaela Parks at kaela@uaa.alaska.edu)
• The office must be decorated by 8 a.m. on Sept. 19
• Decorations must include the following:
• An educational piece regarding the Constitution
• Highlight at least one amendment or/legislation
• Promotion of Constitution Week programs (a Constitution Week program flyer will be provided to you)
• A box for students to enter their names for the prize drawing when they visit your office

Entries will be judged on Sept. 23 by members of the Constitution Week Committee and a fantastic trophy will be awarded to the winning office/department.
