Sept. 14, 2011: 'Respectful Workplace Workshop' for supervisors

Supervisors are invited to the upcoming "Respectful Workplace Workshop." This training underscores the commitment to a workplace and educational environment that is free from unlawful discrimination and harassment. The university is committed to maintain an environment in which faculty, staff, students and visitors on the university's campuses are treated with civility, dignity and respect.

Supervisors will engage in discussions exploring how to recognize characteristics of illegal, offensive and disrespectful workplace behaviors, shared responsibility for creating and maintaining a respectful workplace and an understanding of how behavior choices can impact the work environment.
