At 7 p.m., Michelle Krok will be presenting  "Cosmic Collisions," narrated by Robert Redford. Come see the collisions that created the Moon, that killed off the dinosaurs, that create our northern lights, and that will someday merge the Milky Way and Andromeda galaxies. This show provides an unprecedented and extraordinary view of these events -- both catastrophic and constructive -- that have shaped our world and our universe. "Cosmic Collisions" will be playing on our dome for one year and one year only, so catch it while you can!

And at 8:30 p.m., witness the return of one of our old classics, 'Two Small Pieces of Glass."  Engaging and appealing to audiences of all ages, this show traces the history of the telescope from its simple beginnings 400 years ago to the launch of the Hubble Space Telescope and beyond. Explore the Galilean moons of Jupiter, Saturn's rings, spiral galaxies, and more!

Tickets to these and many other planetarium shows are now available for purchase at http://UAATix.com, and show descriptions and trailers are up at our website, http://www.uaa.alaska.edu/planetarium/shows/
