About the artist:
Sket One (Andrew Yasgar) grew up in New Haven, Conn. where he put down his artistic roots as a graffiti artist starting in 1986 while hip-hop swept the country. Between painting walls and keeping an eye out for the police, Sket's understanding and appreciation of urban art and culture grew.

From those first experimentations painting and creating with spray cans, Sket soon found himself honing his skills and leveraging them into commercial design opportunities. He created and ran Unitee, a shirt design company, while looking for a full-time gig as a designer. He eventually landed his current position as a designer for one of the leading sports marketing firms.

Sket designs figures for several designer vinyl companies including Kidrobot, Wheaty Wheat, Red Magic and Kaching Brands. Collectors became familiar with Sket's art through his toys and soon recognized him as one of the OG artists who laid the foundations of urban vinyl in America.
