Graduate student scholarship awards available--apply by Oct. 28

The UAA Graduate Student Association (GSA) is currently accepting proposals for scholarship awards to assist students in advanced-level studies and research. Awards of up to $1,000 are available. Submissions may be written to support research and/or travel related to research. The submission deadline is 5 p.m. on Oct. 28. Please visit the GSA website for more information. Recipients are REQUIRED to submit a scholarship proposal to the GSA via email to UAA_GSA@uaa.alaska.edu.
The GSA meets bi-weekly in the Social Sciences Building (SSB), Room 302. The GSA will also be holding a proposal-writing workshop on Tuesday, Oct. 18 at 3:15 p.m. in SSB 302.
