2011 Pumpkin Carving Contest

Relieve your mid-semester stress and let your light shine by entering the UAA Campus
Bookstore Pumpkin Carving Contest. Pre-register by Oct. 24 at the TechZone, located
on the second floor of the bookstore. Free pumpkins for the first 10 participants
(available for pick-up Oct. 25) - your own pumpkins are welcome after that.
Carve your pumpkin masterpiece at home and return it to the TechZone on Thursday, Oct. 27 between 9 a.m. and 7 p.m. Entries will be displayed at the bookstore, judging by public vote will be held Friday, Oct. 28 and winners will be announced Monday, Oct. 31. Prizes for the top three "Pumpkin Picassos" include: an HP Deskjet 3054 all-in-one-wireless printer, iPod docking station with alarm clock, or "Ear Pollution" over-the-ear headphones.
