Monday, Oct. 31, 7-11 p.m.
Student Union, Cafeteria

Mark your calendars: "The Rocky Horror Picture Show" is an experience appealing to multiple generations and it returns to UAA this month!

"The Rocky Horror Picture Show" will show at 7 p.m. in the Student Union on Monday, Oct. 31. Admission is free for UAA students with University ID card. Moviegoers can even become part of the movie with the free prop bags donated by the Communities Mobilizing for Change on Alcohol (CMCA) as part of the National Collegiate Alcohol Awareness Week.

This event will be an alcohol-free alternative that students can participate in with a mock-tail bar, costume contest (with prizes), and other surprises throughout the evening.

The 1975 flick stars Tim Curry, Susan Sarandon, Barry Bostwick and a cast of other assorted crazy characters in a campy tale surrounding the visit by an engaged couple to the bizarre home of Dr. Frank-N-Furter, when their vehicle breaks down nearby. Song and dance fill the 100-minute movie, rated R.

Student Union & Commuter Students Services, Student Life & Leadership, Dean of Students office and the Communities Mobilizing for Change on Alcohol are sponsoring the show. Organizers ask that all attendees be at least 17 years or older to view the R rated film. For more information, visit the Facebook page or call (907) 786-1204.
