Missing student found and recovering

Dear Anchorage Community,
We are greatly relieved that UAA student athlete Marko Cheseto has been found and is recovering.
Over the past two days our UAA and Anchorage campus community organized quickly and
effectively to respond to this emergency situation. A special thank you to all those
who have helped including UAA faculty, staff, students and volunteers, the Anchorage
Police Department, University Police Department, Alaska State Troopers, Alaska Mountain
Rescue Group, Alaska Search and Rescue Dogs, Anchorage Nordic Ski Patrol, ROTC, Alaska
Pacific University and many other community volunteers. We are very grateful for the
support and strength of our community.
Join me in wishing Marko a speedy recovery.
