Russian-language presentation of 'Dawn of the Space Age' - Nov. 11, 2011

"На заре Космической Эры," a special presentation of the popular planetarium show "Dawn of the Space Age," will feature a full 40 minutes of Russian-language narration. This will be followed by a 10-minute presentation on the science of space travel (in English) and an additional 10 minutes for audience questions (in both English and Russian).

This is a joint project of the UAA Planetarium and the UAA Department of Languages Russian Program. It results from a partnership between the UAA Department of Languages Russian Program and the Anchorage School District Russian Immersion Programs at Turnagain Elementary and Romig Middle School.

Ticket reservations are available online only. Remaining tickets will be sold on a first-come, first-served basis at the door on the day of the show. The planetarium will open for seating 30 minutes before the start of each show. You must be in the theater 10 minutes before the show starts. Reserved seats will be released after this time to stand-by customers. There is no entry after the show begins.
