Shootout ticket packages go on sale Nov. 7

Full-tournament packages for the 2011 Carrs/Safeway Great Alaska Shootout go on sale Monday, Nov. 7 at noon. The packages can be purchased at the Sullivan Arena box office, ticketmaster.com, or charge by phone at (800) 745-3000.
The full-tourney packages -- good for all 16 games of the 34th annual college basketball
extravaganza -- cost between $120 and $170.
Single-session tickets - featuring two games apiece - go on sale Monday, Nov. 14,
at noon. Session prices range from $20 to $35.
The 2011 Shootout runs Nov. 23-26 at Anchorage's Sullivan Arena and features women's teams from UAA, Central Michigan, Miami (Fla.) and South Florida, plus men's teams from UAA, Central Michigan, Dartmouth, Murray State, New Mexico State, San Francisco, Southern Mississippi and UC Irvine.
