Nov. 18, 2011: CAFE, Native Case Studies (Native Issues and Pedagogies Session 3)

by Jamie Gonzales  |

Friday, Nov. 18, 11 a.m.-12:30 p.m.
UAA/APU Consortium Library, Room 307

A group of UAA faculty attended the Enduring Legacies Summer Institute for Writing and Teaching Native Case Studies. In it, they learned how using culturally diverse case studies is an effective teaching method for stimulating student interest and participation. Join us to hear them discuss the lessons they learned, lead us through a case study and explore ways in which to use this engaging practice in our own courses. Audio conferencing available for this event, more info on call in numbers at registration page.

Please register online for the session.

Event co-sponsored by the College of Health Diversity Committee.
