USUAA invites applications for the Leadership Scholarship; deadline Nov. 11

UAA Students enrolled in three or more credits and in good disciplinary standing may receive $1,000 toward school through the USUAA Leadership Scholarship. Scholarships are available to students who have strengthened student life through leadership and involvement within the UAA campus community. To be considered, completed applications must be received by the USUAA Administrative Assistant in Student Union 218 by 5 p.m. Friday, Nov. 11.

Applicants must have a cumulative 2.5 GPA and be admitted to a degree-seeking program at the time of application. Along with the Scholarship application, a narrative essay, leadership resume and three letters of recommendation must be submitted. Application materials should provide clear examples of strengths in regard to leadership, co‐curricular involvement and/or character and influences that have affected the UAA campus community or a specific student population. Scholarships are awarded each fall and spring semester.
