Winter Break parking reminders for students and employees

Are you a student housing resident heading home for the holidays? If you plan to leave your car on campus, please park in the Cottonwood Lot to allow for snow removal and lot maintenance over the break. Remember to display your valid parking permit (fall permits are acceptable if you have not yet received your spring permit).

Are you an employee with keys to a university fleet vehicle? Any fleet vehicles that will be parked long term over break may be relocated to either parking garage in the covered areas between Friday, Dec. 16, 2011 and Friday, Jan. 13, 2012.

These parking arrangements will facilitate snow removal over winter break and allow a central location for UPD to concentrate safety patrols. If vehicles are driven on a regular basis or will be used over break, you are welcome to leave them parked as usual but may be asked to move them for snow removal.

Parking permit enforcement resumes the first day of classes, Jan. 17, 2011 at 7:30 a.m.
