Blackboard 9.1 upgrade was successful

IT Services has completed the upgrade from Blackboard 8 to 9.1 on schedule and Blackboard 9.1 is now ready for faculty and student use.

  • Faculty: You can now go in to your courses and finish prepping them for spring semester.
  • Students: Your instructor will make your course available to you. If you don't see a course listed in which you are enrolled, your instructor hasn't made it available to you yet.

The upgrade to Blackboard represents a significant change to the user interface for faculty. Instructor workshops are available at the Faculty Technology Center beginning on Wednesday, Jan. 4. Check out this Knowledge Base article for faculty. 

Students won't see such a big a difference. Check out the Knowledge Base article for information on Blackboard 9.1 for students.
