Mark your calendars for Healthy Sexuality Week at UAA! Here are some of the highlights:
Sexy Jeopardy
Tuesday, Feb. 7, 11:30 a.m.-1 p.m., Student Union (all UAA students welcome)
Tuesday, Feb. 7, 5-7 p.m., Gorsuch Commons Cafeteria (all residential students welcome)
Compete with other student teams on knowledge related to healthy sexuality, including safe sex, alcohol and sex, pregnancy and parenting, relationships, sex gone wrong, pop culture and music, laws and reproductive health. Win prizes!
Know Your Status Day
Wednesday, Feb. 8, 9 a.m.-4 p.m., Student Health and Counseling Center (SHCC)
Free STI testing (gonorrhea, chlamydia, syphilis and HIV) for SHCC eligible students. Please do not urinate for at least one hour prior to testing. No other food or drink limitations.
Healthy Sexuality Week Resource Fair
Wednesday, Feb. 8, 9 a.m.-4 p.m., Rasmuson Hall Lobby
Resource booths with information on safe sex, HIV, contraception, sexually transmitted infections, alcohol and drugs and sex and more.
Dan Savage Live
Thursday, Feb. 9, 7:30 p.m., Wendy Williamson Auditorium (tickets on sale Jan. 20)
He's back! Boldly covering anything and everything about sexual relationships.
Safe Sex Valentine
Tuesday, Feb. 14, 11 a.m.-2 p.m., Student Union
Tuesday, Feb. 14, 5-7 p.m., Gorsuch Commons
