Miles Davis was one of the first jazz musicians Steve Godfrey was exposed to when he was in college in the early 1990s. "I immediately clicked with the structure and the improvisation," he says. "Jazz is such a mood setter." The fluidity of jazz music has shaped Steve's art ever since.
