Parking reminders for snowy campus lots

Parking Services would like to remind all UAA drivers that the unusually high snow loads in the Anchorage area this winter have affected the availability of parking in our campus lots. Please park only in designated parking areas, and use good judgment when parking next to other vehicles--the goal is to keep campus safe, reduce accidents in tight spaces and provide as many spaces as possible for drivers.

Together we can make UAA a safe place for drivers, pedestrians and commuters. Should you choose not to drive, UAA offers many programs for students, staff and faculty at little to no cost. These programs include: U-PASS (free transportation on People Mover buses, any route, any time); V-PASS (free transportation on Valley Mover buses to and from Anchorage and Valley locations); Zimride (free carpooling program to create your own carpool that fits your schedule and your budget) Hertz on Demand (hourly rental car program, free membership, pay for use by the hour) and for those hardy souls, bike commuting.
