Faculty member Diane Benson to speak at Elizabeth Peratrovich celebration, Feb. 16

Alaska Native Studies faculty member and Alaska Native Sisterhood Anchorage Camp '87 President Diane Benson will be one of the guest speakers at the Anchorage Tlingit and Haida Indian Tribes of Alaska (ATHITA) celebration of Alaska Native Civil rights honoring activist Elizabeth Peratrovich. Everyone is invited to attend. Alaska Native Brotherhood Anchorage Camp '87 President Marvin Adams will also guest speak. The emcee and host for the evening is Shirley Kendall. The video "Elizabeth Peratrovich" by the Hoonah Players will also be shown.

You are welcome to wear your ANS/ANB Hat and Koogeina (sash). Light refreshments and snacks to follow. Please bring something to share. Gunalcheesh. Thank You.
