Sunday, Feb. 19, 6-7 p.m.
Professional Studies Building, Room 166

Looking to gain a competitive edge in the employment market or stand out on law, med or grad school applications? Have you ever held a leadership position before? Ever served on an executive board for a club, organization or in Greek life?

If you're looking to:

  • Significantly distinguish your resume
  • Gain networking skills
  • Receive professional leadership training
Then come to the general interest meeting for executive board positions with a UAA chapter of the National Society of Leadership and Success! It is one of the largest college leadership honor societies in the United States and we're starting a chapter here at the University of Alaska Anchorage. Currently there are multiple open positions on the executive board, including vice president, treasurer, social events chair and IT coordinator (among others).

Take a minute or so to browse the website and come to the general interest meeting with your resume and any questions you might have. The presentation will last roughly 25-35 minutes followed by Q and A and then a short application process. If you have any questions about the meeting or the society, email Corey Hester at hester.corey@gmail.com.
