Volunteers needed for Fur Rondy Sled Dog Race 2012

Friday-Sunday, Feb. 24-26, 11:30-1:30 p.m. (race days)


Be a part of the sled dog races! UAA Indigenous Studies doctoral student Kristie Parsons will be training volunteers to participate in the Fur Rendezvous Open World Championship Sled Dog Race for the 4th year. Volunteers actively provide security and assistance on the trail for the three-day race. Over 300 volunteers are required and currently 100 more are needed. Volunteers work for 3 hours on one of the three race days.
