American Astronomical Society Meeting, June 10-14

The American Astronomical Society (AAS) will be holding its summer meeting in Anchorage June 10-14. An estimated 1,800 astronomers will be coming. The AAS is looking for volunteers to help out. Do you know anyone interested in astronomy who might like to attend for free?
Volunteers that sign up to work a minimum of 16 hours will receive complimentary meeting registration, volunteer t-shirts, access to the Exhibit Hall and all the sessions and to the Opening Reception. We will also provide complimentary lunch and parking on the days you work 4 or more hours.

This is an excellent opportunity for undergrads, grad students, postdocs and local amateur astronomers to: supervise sessions, help at registration, usher at events and various other odd (but greatly appreciated) jobs. Don't miss the chance to meet and mingle with your peers, get up to date on the newest science and pick up some cool freebies. Sign up today.
