Call for health-related research and curriculum project proposals, due March 15

Deadline: Thursday, March 15, 5 p.m.

Attention staff and faculty, CAHDRE will fund up to 10 research and/or curricular projects for faculty working with students on topics related to health and health disparities.

Funding for the project can be up to $500, which can be used for supplies and other commodities. These funds will be available April 1 and should be expended by June 30, 2012. A one-page report and presentation of the project's highlights will be required at a CAHDRE forum on campus in fall 2012.

Applications should be no more than two pages, and include:

• Complete contact information for the project leader/mentor
• Brief background on the project
• Type of project (research or curricular improvement)
• Goals and objectives
• Timeline for completion
• Anticipated deliverables
• Draft budget with justification
