Meet candidates for Vice Provost for Undergraduate Academic Affairs at open forums - March 26 and 28, 2012

Candidates will be interviewing for the position of Vice Provost for Undergraduate Academic Affairs next week. The search committee has scheduled several open forums to allow faculty, staff and students an opportunity to get to know the candidates and their backgrounds.

This position serves as the Provost's designee in issues involving academic policy, including regulatory and accreditation policies; participates in internal governance activities including Administrative and Academic Councils; chairs the Academic Policy Advisory Committee, and serves as the Office of Academic Affairs representative to several Faculty and Senate academic and assessment committees; coordinates with schools, colleges, departments and faculty on the development and implementation of new academic programs; and collaborates with the Office of the Registrar on academic policy and its enforcement.
