University of Alaska Anchorage receives UFA ATTower ATC Training Simulator

"UFA, INC. announced...that it successfully completed the installation and commissioning of an ATTower simulator at the University of Alaska Anchorage (UAA). The simulator is installed at the UAA Aviation Technology Division located at the Aviation Technology Center on Merrill Field Airport. The ATTower simulator installation and training activity at UAA was completed to support the spring 2012 semester within just 6 weeks after contract award...

... The Federal Aviation Administration has designated the University of Alaska Anchorage as part of the College Training Initiative program. UAA is one of 33 approved CTI Air Traffic Control schools across the nation and was one of the five original schools approved at the programs beginning. To date, the UAA Air Traffic Control (ATC) program has graduated more than 400 students. UAA students completing the ATC program boast a high graduation rate at the Federal Aviation Administration Academy."
