Preserving summer's bounty workshops in May and June

Learn how to preserve all the great foods summer has to offer at home safely while retaining high quality. UAF's Anchorage Cooperative Extension Service offers a series of classes that will teach you how. Classes meet 5:30-10 p.m. at Viking Hall on the following dates:

May 1 - Canning Fish and Meat
May 6 - Making Jam and Jelly
May 23 - Principles Of Pickling
June 6 - Drying and Freezing
June 13 - Canning Fish and Meat
