by Jamie Gonzales  |

This year marks the 22nd anniversary of Development Day at UAA--a day devoted to personal and professional growth. Our keynote speaker this year is Jim Clemmer, author/workshop leader/management team developer who will be leading the day off by focusing us on growing through change.

Workshops planned for this year are:

  • How To Coach Employees Using The NASA Model
  • Learn About Grants (presented by Foraker Group)
  • Explore Team Building In A Changing Environment
  • Learn About Wildlife (presented by Alaska Department of Fish and Game)
  • How To Run Your Own Business (presented by Small Business Development Center)
  • See The Stars at our Planetarium
  • Deliver the News (A workshop in UAA's television studio to show what it takes to be a news anchor or an investigative reporter)

These are just a few of the over 40 workshops that will be presented this year.
