Information Technology (IT) Services moving to Administrative Services

Bill Spindle, vice chancellor for Administrative Services, announced on Friday that IT Services will be relocating from Academic Affairs to Administrative Services. Below is his official announcement.

"IT Services, which has been located in Academic Affairs, is moving to Administrative Services. Over the past decade IT Services has moved back and forth between Academic Affairs and Administrative Services for purposes of alignment. The movement of eMedia Services out of IT Services last year removed a significant 'academic' tie that justified alignment with Academic Affairs. With the departure of Provost and Executive Vice Chancellor Mike Driscoll, it is an ideal time to move IT Services back to Administrative Services.

Rich Whitney continues to oversee IT Services. His new title, reflecting the move to Administrative Services, is associate vice chancellor of Administrative Services and chief information officer."
