RESCHEDULED TO 2014: UAA hosting International Conference on the World of Mammoths and Their Relatives in 2013

UAA will host the 6th International Conference on the World of Mammoths and Their Relatives. The conference is set to run May 26 to June 3, 2013. There will be events during the conference that take participants to the Alaska Museum of Natural History, the Anchorage Museum and the Alaska Native Heritage Center. A mid-conference field trip to the Musk Ox Farm, the Reindeer Farm and the Alaska Wildlife Conservation Center is planned. An optional field trip at additional cost will be available to the Dry Creek, Tangle Lakes and Broken Mammoth archaeological sites and to the Alaska Museum of the North.
