Jeff Requist, a sophomore in the Aviation Maintenance Technology Program at CTC, has received an internship with NASA's Dryden Flight Research Center at Edwards Air Force Base in California.

The internship is part of NASA's Student Career Experience Program. He will be working at the Center from July 2 to Dec. 14, 2012, as an Engineering Technician in the Technical Lab Support Branch, which assists the engineers of the Flight Loads Laboratory Engineering Group (FLLEG) and the Flight Simulations Engineering Group (FSEG).

The FLLEG provides testing for a variety of experimental flight structures and control surfaces through ground vibration and thermal and mechanical loading. The FSEG builds, modifies and repairs the Center's flight simulation equipment.

More information about the Dryden Flight Research Center can be found on NASA's website.
