Lenticular print artist Richard Cutrona, a visual artist from Brooklyn, will give a special lecture on Thursday, June 14
in Fine Arts 116. He will be the guest of photography instructor Michael Conti. His talk is on lenticular photography - prints that "move" based on the viewer's
angle to the print.
Think of the prizes in a Cracker Jack box that show an open or winking eye, depending on the viewing angle. Read more about lenticular prints here and more about Richard Cutrona's work here.
The image pictured at right is called "Zero Tolerance," and uses imagery of former Alaska Governor Sarah Palin and the Twin Towers. Click on the image to see a larger version. Cutrona often has a political slant to the imagery he uses to create his lenticular prints.
