Science campers call UAA their own
by Ted Kincaid |
UAA's School of Engineering is hosting three different camps this summer aimed at
exposing middle and high school students to hands-on science and health career opportunities.
Each camp has a different theme-robotics, rapid prototyping and GPS tracking-and this
summer marks the third year UAA has hosted these enrichment opportunities. Find out what the campers have been up to recently-from designing wind turbines to
power an LED lightbulb to building solar-powered amphibious vehicles out of Styrofoam.
