Model United Nations 2013: Global Economic Justice, Feb. 21-23

The UAA Political Science Department is hosting the 31st Annual Model United Nations of Alaska on Feb. 21, 22 and 23. This conference unites high school and college teams from across the state for three days of discussion and debate on the topic of "Global Economic Justice."
The Model UN conference simulates the procedures of the United Nations. Opening Ceremonies are Thursday, Feb. 21, 5-7 p.m. in the Wendy Williamson Auditorium. Committee meetings are held all day Friday, Feb. 22, in Rasmuson Hall. The General Assembly and Closing Ceremonies are in the Wendy Williamson Auditorium on Saturday, Feb. 23, 12-5 p.m.
