Judy GreenLynn KoshiyamaLynn Koshiyama, interim director of the Center for Advancing Faculty Excellence (CAFE), has accepted the position of interim associate dean in the College of Business and Public Policy. Professor Koshiyama has been a tireless champion for faculty development at UAA. We all congratulate Lynn on her new appointment and thank her for her extraordinary leadership and service to CAFE.

Professor Judy Green has accepted the appointment of interim director of CAFE. Judy will provide leadership in the Center as we begin the search process for a permanent CAFE director. Professor Green has extensive prior experience with both CAFE and its predecessor, the UAA Teaching Excellence Program. Judy served as co-chair of the Teaching Excellence Program at the time of CAFE's creation. She has both chaired and served on CAFE's advisory board, and has built a reputation as a strong advocate for the Center. She has more than 18 years of experience as a faculty member at UAA, understands the challenges of providing resources and support to faculty and will greatly assist us as the Center and its programs move forward.
