Parking enforcement resumes Aug. 27

by Michelle Saport  |

Parking enforcement begins the first day of classes at UAA, Monday, Aug. 27. Parking permits are enforced in all campus lots and both parking garages from 7:30 a.m.-7:30 p.m., Monday through Thursday. Make sure you have a valid parking permit or a current temporary permit displayed to avoid being ticketed. If you have not yet purchased your parking permit, it is not too late! Simply visit uaa.thepermitstore.com and click on BUY PERMITS to begin your purchase; there are many payment options provided.

If you have purchased a parking permit you won't need, full refunds are only available until the fee payment deadline of Sept. 7, 2012. Parking Services will be available to answer parking and transportation questions at the Campus Kick-Off Festival on Saturday, Aug. 25, from 5-7:30 p.m. in the Cuddy Quad.

A reminder from our call team and University Police: For your own protection, please do not purchase secondhand or "used" permits from sites like craigslist or classified ads. Displaying a permit purchased from any source other than uaa.thepermitstore.com could cost you up to $500 in fraudulent permit fees! Each permit should be linked to your specific vehicle information using the secure online ordering system at uaa.thepermitstore.com and when received, should be adhered to the lower left (driver's side) of the windshield with its original adhesive (no scotch tape).

For specific parking or transportation related inquiries, call (907) 786-1119, visit our website or stop by the office (below the UAA Campus Bookstore) from 8:30 a.m.-6 p.m.
