The UAA Concert Board is proud to announce the 19th annual "A Cappella Festivella," part of UAA's Homecoming Week.

A Cappella newcomers The Exchange are headlining the event. Their crew is born from the ashes of former college groups featured on NBC's "The Sing-Off," combining the talents of frontmen Aaron Sperber, Jamal Moore and beatboxer Richard Steighner with producer Chris Diaz and director Alfredo Austin. Bringing something to the stage for everyone, they mix beautiful harmonies with vocal instrumentation to breathe life into age-old standards and new material. The Exchange have charmed sold out crowds all over the U.S. and abroad, and work diligently to inspire participation in school music programs.

Opening for The Exchange at this year's "A Cappella Festivella" is the UAA Glee Club. Formed in recent years, the group of UAA students has impressed audiences across the Anchorage area, proving themselves entertaining and powerful.

Tickets are $5 for UAA students, $16 for UAA staff, faculty and alumni, $16 for youth (under 17) and $22 for the general public. All ticket prices are $5 more at the door. Beginning Monday, Sept. 10, at 8 a.m., tickets become available online at UAATix.com or in person at the Student Union Information Desk.
